Sept . 4: Fall Meeting & 100th Anniversary Kickoff Celebration
September 4, 6 pm
First Christian Church, corner of Haskins & Poe
Turn back the clock to the 1920s and 1930s as we begin our 100th anniversary club year with a night to remember! If you wish to dress in clothing from those decade it would be appreciated, but certainly not required.
The evening begins with a potluck dinner. Members with last names beginning with A-H should bring a salad or side dish; letters J-M, an entrée; the N through W a desert.
We would really like to feature dishes from the 20s and 30s, so if you are willing to bring a dish whose recipe is from either decade, it would be wonderful.
Bring a friend and visit the displays our chairs will bring to show what our membership activities include. Then plan to be entertained by a barbershop quartet as we round out our evening.
Should you have questions, please feel free to contact Sharon Franklin or Debbie LeGalley.
